Thanks everyone who participated at the DAHRIN Kick-Off event last Thursday at R-22 in Odense. Søren Adamsen Mouritzen introduced the new network as representative of Odense Robotics.

We heard presentations from university researchers, Matthias Rehm of Aalborg University, Matouš Jelínek of SDU Sønderborg – University of Southern Denmark and Oskar Palinko of Syddansk Universitet – University of Southern Denmark.

This was followed by a very interesting panel discussion with robotics industry experts, Niels Jul Jacobsen of Capra Robotics, Nico Daams of Blue Ocean Robotics and Krzysztof Zielinski of Universal Robots A/S.

The session was moderated by Jakob Haugaard Christiansen of SDU TEK Communication and was organized by Julie Thygesen Rydahl of SDU TEK Innovation both from Syddansk Universitet – University of Southern Denmark.

The kick-off event of our network will take place at the R’22 Robotics Fair in Odense on the 23rd of March, 2022. First a short presentation will be given from 13:50 at the Odense Congress Center. On the next day, March 24th, we will have demos, talks and time for networking between 13.30 and 14.30. Please come and join us if you have any interest in human-robot interaction and especially if you are interested in how HRI can help you deliver a better product.

The Danish Human-Robot Interaction Network has been approved by Odense Robotics and the Ministry of Higher Education and Science. Planning has started for upcoming events in 2022.
